At age 11, Ashley Jolin moved with her family to North Ogden, Utah in their pursuit of a better environment to raise a family. Always captivated by politics and citizen advocacy, Ashley went to the University of Utah to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English. Her younger brother, Nick, has low-functioning autism, and his life has inspired her to be a lifelong advocate of individuals with disabilities.
As a University student, Ashley focused on studies and work oriented around public service, with the intent of one day serving in Congress and addressing the most pressing issues of the nation. Professionally, Ashley has managed and advised numerous campaigns throughout the state. She also coordinated academic affairs at the University of Utah, served as a wealth management advisor at Merrill Lynch, and founded the nonpartisan nonprofit Emerging Leaders Initiative of Utah to help individuals become civically engaged.
With the community calling for better leadership, Ashley decided now was the time to run for Congress. Ashley is ready to listen, exchange ideas, and arrive at community solutions to improve Utah.
